How to spend your Time in Bratislava
Both our apartments are located just a short walk from the center of Bratislava. Forest Park Apartment on the one hand explicitly touches nature, on the other hand the center is only 6 km away. Central Point Apartment is for those who like the bustle of the city, life, shops, markets and want to get to the city center in a few minutes.
Our guests often ask us what we recommend visiting in Bratislava. We choose for you the best that we like in our city and that we would definitely not miss in your place.

UFO observation desk, SNP bridge
Bratislava in the palm of your hand. Enjoy the beautiful view from the U.F.O. observation desk at a height of 85 m above the river Danube, which is the part of the Bridge SNP.
If the weather is nice, there is a view to a distance of 100 km. An elevator leads to it in the eastern pillar of the bridge, while in the western pillar there is an emergency staircase with 430 steps. UFO is considered one of the dominants of the city and a popular destination for domestic and foreign tourists. Our recommendation is to visit this attraction at sunset. You will not regret.

Downtown
We recommend spending a nice evening in the streets of the center. The atmosphere of cafes, restaurants or local pubs will literally engulf you. Next to the center is Bratislava Castle with a nice view of the Danube and Petržalka, the largest Slovak settlement. Enjoy a glass of wine at VÍNIMKA or WINE NOT!? We recommend the pleasant Coctail Bar Spin, stylish bars Old Fashioned Bar, Brixton House or The Velvet. Our favorite cafés Mondieu, Urban Bistro will definitely lift your spirits. You probably haven't heard about it yet, but in Bratislava you will probably find the best ice cream parlors in all of Europe - Luculus, Koun, Moja Srdcovka. You will definitely not regret it. And of course, if you are a culture lover, there are several galleries or museums in the center.

Devín Castle & Sandberg hill
Are you a view lover? We have a tip for you for a half-day trip. There is one interesting place in Bratislava - Devín Castle. In fact, it is already a ruin, which accommodates a museum. The castle was burned by Napoleon army. It is located on a hill above the place where the Morava River flows into the Danube River. It is also a memorable place. Do you know why? On the other side of the Danube is already Austria, and during communism this border was strictly guarded. Many Slovaks draeming about freedom tried to escape the country in this area. However, many of them did not survive the escape. That's why you will also find a monument with engraved names of people shot.
Sandberg Hill is nearby. We recommend visiting it just before sunset, we guarantee a truly romantic atmosphere.
Red Stone Castle and winemakers
This is our favorite place to spend a weekend afternoon. Castle Červený kameň (Red Stone) is located 40 km from Bratislava. We recommend it for guests who come to us by car. You will be enchanted by a nice environment, a mini zoo with falconry demonstrations. Of course, the most interesting part of the trip is the castle itself, which once belonged to the Hungarian Pálfy family. The tours are in Slovak as well as English and you will definitely enjoy the charming interiors and history.
Do not miss the wine region Svätý Jur - Pezinok - Modra on the way to the castle. We recommend visiting small winemakers who are also proud of worldwide awards. More information can be found here.

Bratislava ZOO
Have you visited us or are you planning to visit us with your children? In such a case, be sure not to miss a visit to the Bratislava Zoo. It is located in Mlynská dolina and is the second oldest zoo in Slovakia. In addition to almost 200 species of animals, you will also find Dino Park, which will entertain smaller and larger children. If it is warm outside, be sure to take a bottle of water with you, because it spreads over a large part of the hill and the walk is sure to take time.

Kamzík TV Tower
It may not be the most modern TV tower, it was built in 1975. Nevertheless, it is a place where you really have the whole Bratislava in the palm of your hand. But if you come here, plan your dinner in the stylish VEŽA Restaurant Bistro Bar. Best before sunset. In addition to culinary dishes, there is another specialty in the restaurant. It is a revolving restaurant. Enjoy the revolving floor, which will give you a perfect 360 ° view during dinner.

Zelezna studnicka (The Iron Well)
Forest Park Apartment is adjacent to a recreational and leisure area called Železná studnička. This is a part of the Little Carpathians, which is probably the most popular place for runners, cyclists, families with children or couples in love. Are you a runner or a cyclist? Here begins a number of tracks leading in the forests of the Little Carpathians. Don't be surprised if you see Slovak celebrities or politicians training here as well. If you like gyms and you desire to work out outdoors, this is the right place. Couples in love will also get their money's worth.
